Oliver Jeffers “Heart And The Bottle” App
I’m a huge Oliver Jeffers fan. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago and got my books signed and doodled by him. As an illustrator, I find his work truly inspirational.
Anyhoo, I’ve just noticed (many months after the event, yes I am a fan, just mostly an offline fan) that there is a iPad app version of his beautiful picture book “The Heart And The Bottle”. The story is read by the lovely Helen Bonham Carter whose voice goes just perfectly with the wonderful illustrations.

How did I miss this? We love Oliver Jeffers in our house. My husband met him at a design talk a few years ago also, and we have a signed collection of his books now as well! I’ll be rushing home this evening to check out this app!
