Last weekend at the Children’s Books Ireland conference, author Marcus Sedgewick was talking about some of the research he had done for his novel Revolver. He told the audience how he had met with a couple of gun experts/aficionados and how he felt they really didn’t think about what a gun actually does. Then he showed this amazing advertisement. There was an audible intake of breath at the end.
