10 Beautiful Examples of Photo Retouching & Manipulation

The following are all people I’ve admired from afar. This collection is a taster of some of the fabo photo retouching and manipulation work they do, something I’m really interested in and do a bit of work in myself. So these guys are quite inspirational. You’ll find no swirls or swooshes in this lot, they are all very different, interesting to look at and try to figure out how it’s done. All images are copyright the original artist.

So, in no particular order;

I believe it’s both… When a designer can retouch a photo into such an incredible manipulation… It’s certainly ART!

Christophe Huet’s is also my favorite..

Yes Christophe Huet is exceptional, isn’t he? When I grow up I want to retouch like him! I love Derek Bacon’s work too. And Taylor James. And Glenn Honiball is renowned in the industry for his work. They’re all brill really.

I think it was a ‘manipulation’ not retouch, retouch is by fixing the photos or make it beautiful but off course the photo must still be the same and not to create a huge difference.
