If Photoshop Came On Floppy Disks ….

This is an interesting poster by Antrep04 showing how Photoshop might look if it came on 3.5 inch floppy disks instead of a DVD. They’ve estimated that it would require 358 disks for Adobe Photoshop CS4. That would be a serious pain in the bum to install, wouldn’t it?

  • Funny, thanks for sharing. I wonder how many discs the entire Master Suite would take?

  • Haha. That takes me back to my Atari ST loving days. Funny thing is, the other day I really needed an old file (an article from my Degree Coarse) from 2002. It was on one of these disks, and I no longer have a drive for it!

  • There’s a niche in the employment market:

    Professional Adobe Installer

  • Devlin, my guess would be 14,372,456.

Andrew, I still have a pile of old floppies that should really go in the bin too. You never know when you might need Paint Shop Pro version 0.2 ;-)

David, what a nightmare job that would be. Kind of thing that would pay about 5p per hour too probably.

  • 14,372, 456! Yikes, Not to show my age, but I remember loading games on my old Commodore 64 with a tape drive. It would take almost an hour to load the game!
