Free Art Friday Ireland

Free Art Friday is taking place next Friday (23rd January 09). The idea is that artists, illustrators, sculptors, photographers – basically anyone with a creative bone in their body – leaves a piece of work on the streets of Dublin which can then be taken away and kept by anyone who wants it. A label on the back of the artwork will allow the recipient to contact the artist if they want to. So it’s great for people to get their creative work out there and also pretty cool for members of the public who can pick up a piece of art for free. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.
You can find full details about it here.

Thanks for the tips Jennifer,
It’s a great idea…
It s seem to be all over Ireland.. in every town, village…
Do you know anyway if this artistic demonstration is taking place anywhere in Dublin or in some area only?
Thanks
Yas
Hi Yasmina!
Hope you’re well. Yeah, I think it was all over Ireland – great idea and they have pictures on the website now of some of the artwork.
