12 Green Business Cards (+1 By Me!)
A few months ago I wrote a post about dark business cards, which proved to be very popular. The idea is the same here. I’ve picked out 12 business cards which are predominantely green in colour, or feature green in an important way. So if you’re needing some green-coloured inspiration, read on.
The first card on the list here is ahem, one of my own creations, for a company in New Zealand called Weka Cottage. A weka is a flightless native bird of NZ – that’s why I included a bird in the logo.
Why Green?
The main colour is a dark green with a bit of blue representing nature and all the beauty of New Zealand – it is without doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to and I hope to go back there for holiers next year. As always simplicity is my mantra, and the cover or reverse of this business card could not be simpler.

I love these. I have serious print envy. I am terrified of print and only do it for clients under threat or when push really comes to shove.

I’m really getting into the print stuff and like yourself I’m more of a web based person. I just love the fact that with print, you know what size everything is, you don’t have to worry about what browser a person is using or what size screen they have. The only down side is if you make a boo boo and it’s gone to print there is a really really sick feeling you get that just isn’t there with a web mistake. Not that I would, ahem, ever make a mistake with a client’s work!

I love the spot varnish on the reverse of the Frischr card. I was thinking about using this myself, but now I’m thinking of using MetelFX for highlighting my logo.
Has anyone every used Metal FX on a business card design?

These are wonderful. Great work. I really like the greens.
My business card background is black with orange, white and grays on top. I prefer the darker colored cards as well.
