The loneliness of the long distance blogger
Things have been insanely busy over the last two weeks or so and I’ve been neglecting my blog duties. Anyhoo, had a nice time on Saturday night when I went out to meet some like-minded folk at the Irish Webmaster Forum meetup in Dublin. It was great to put some faces to names (or avatars) and very nice to feel included. It’s quite easy to isolate yourself in this business called Web but I was delighted to have a few chats with other designers, SEO heads and all kinds of web people. Got tons of great info too.
So a big shout out to Dave B, Dave D, James, Ken, Simona, Barry, Robert, Jason, Dave (with beard), Cormac, Ciaran, Michael and Louie
As I’m a complete oul one, I left fairly early before getting a chance to talk to everyone but did enjoy a couple of drinkipoohs courtesy of the very kind Blacknight. Much appreciated.

I’m glad that you had a nice time after long and exhausting work. Here in Romania, today (1st March)is the famous geek meet [http://www.geekmeet.ro/] and there gather IT people [code masters, web designers and others].
They exchange information and tips too, and they also have the chance to get out from their homes.
Have a nice day.
