New Photoshop Logo
The Photoshop family of software has been rebranded with a new logo and a new tagline – “See What’s Possible”. The logo is going to appear on Photoshop CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Photoshop Lightroom, Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Album Starter Edition, and Photoshop Express – the new online version of Photoshop

I like the tagline but I’m not too keen on the symbol. For the Big Daddy of the design world I would have expected something a bit more, ehm … wow!
Other logos that it reminds me of are;

iChat

What do you guys think about it?

I am not into it. I read a review on Brand New (http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/) and it brought up a good point about it seeming to try to “blend” into visuals like the “shiny world of vapid web graphics than in sustaining the brand equity of powerhouse Adobe.” I agree. I really was fine with the simple squares and initials from before.
Hi Rachel
Yep, I liked the Periodic Table of Elements – http://www.flickr.com/photos/veerles-blog/328983830/ look they had too. And it tied everything together nicely. This new one is very Web 2.0 – round and shiny.
